Vietnam’s images presented in central France

The exhibition was initiated from an invitation of the Verneuil-sur-Arve authorities who want to provide the local people with better understanding of foreign cultures, according to Cecile Minh, AASFV President.
They chose Vietnam as the first place for their introduction programme, she said.
The 200m² display, which opened from May 21-24, attracted many visitors thanks to its convenient location and impressive decorations. Apart from presenting and selling handicrafts, the exhibition introduced Vietnam’s images and the AASFV’s operations.
All profits from the exhibition will be spent on the AASFV’s charitable projects in Vietnam, Cecile Minh said.
Established nearly 20 years ago, the AASFV has organised a number of programmes to promote Vietnam’s images in France and carried out projects on education and poverty reduction in Hanoi and the provinces of Thai Binh, Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa.
